A Window, and a Mirror, Into The Future Of UTJ


Please join us at the new UTJ headquarters (668 American Legion Drive, Suite B, Teaneck, NJ 07666) on Sunday, March 27th from 9:30 AM to 1:00 PM for UTJ's annual meeting, featuring an important discussion of the plans for our organization. The program will include:

  • 9:30 AM: Registration
  • 10:00 AM -11:15 AM: Torah Study: Halakhic Issues of Hospice Care featuring Rabbi David Novak ITJ faculty member and J. Richard and Dorothy Shiff Chair of Jewish Studies at University of Toronto
      with representatives of the Metropolitan Jewish Health System:
    • Ms. Toby Weiss, Director of Cultural Sensitivity and Jewish Programming,
    • Rabbi Jay Wagner Rabbinic Liaison,
    • Rabbi Charles Rubansky Director of Pastoral Care and Jewish Clinical Services
  • 11:30 AM-1:00 PM: A Window, And A Mirror, Into The Future Of UTJ: UTJ's annual meeting, including election of officers and a report from the UTJ Planning Committee discussing the vital programs through which UTJ will continue its mission of disseminating its Torah, as guided by our Declaration of Principles, to the broader Jewish Community.

UTJ's constituents are an important part of our future. Come and hear about what is planned and how your volunteer efforts can be a vital part of our future success.

Following the program, there will be a meeting of Morashah, the rabbinic fellowship of the UTJ.
