Mon. Jan. 14 @ 7:30 PM Online Shiur (Class) Nihum Avelim (Consolation of Mourners) on Shabbat

Update: The source sheet and video of this class is available on the UTJ Viewpoints here.

Please join UTJ Vice President Rabbi Noah Gradofsky on Monday, January 14 at 7:30 PM Eastern Time for a shiur (class) on Jewish laws and practices pertaining to nihum avelim (consolation of mourners) on Shabbat.  Rabbi Gradofsky is presenting this class in commemoration of the sheloshim, the 30 day mourning period that began on the day of the funeral of his father, Melvin Gradofsky, of blessed memory.  The shiur will last about an hour.

The source sheet for the class is on the UTJ Viewpoints here.

The shiur will be available live on Facebook from the UTJ Facebook Page.  The best way to be sure to see it is to like the UTJ Facebook page.

If you are local to Bala Cynwyd, PA and would like to attend in person, please email Rabbi Gradofsky at at noah@e-ark.net.

If you are unable to watch live, the video will remain available on the UTJ Facebook Page and will eventually be available directly from UTJ Viewpoints once the Youtube video is produced.

Please help spread the word of this shiur by forwarding this email, sharing via Facebook from here, or via Twitter from here.

The UTJ joins Rabbi Gradofsky in the prayer that the learning we do and the acts of kindness toward the bereaved that it may inspire will be a merit for his father.
