Shanah Tovah from UTJ (5786)

Dear UTJ Members and Supporters:

Please accept our warmest wishes for a happy and healthy 5786.  UTJ website has many inspiring resources for the high holiday and the entire year.  For instance, the UTJ Viewpoints High Holiday section has many articles and videos about the high holidays.

5785 was an important year for UTJ, featuring many great programs (see https://utj.org/viewpoints/utj-events/ for video) and the passage of new bylaws and a election of a new board to help us grow into the future.

We also celebrated the publication of Divrei HaLev, authored by our esteemed Executive Vice-President Emeritus, Rabbi Ron Price.  Divrei HaLev highlights Rabbi Price’s meaningful conversations with our revered founder, Rabbi David Weiss Halivni ז״ל and Siddur Yismah Libeinu, a weekday and Shabbat siddur based on the teachings of Hakham Isaac Sassoon with a masterful English translation by Rabbi Hayyim Solomon.  These and other titles are available from the UTJ Viewpoints bookstore.

The UTJ’s journey reflects these principles through decades of substantive contribution to Jewish thought and practice. From our earliest days in the 1980s, during which we produced scholarly works on halakhic issues through our respected Tomeikh K’Halakha and Cornerstone publications- to today where we have successfully employed digital technology to advance our beliefs and value system.

We cannot do any of this without your support.  If you have already joined UTJ for 5786, thank you.  If you have not already done so, please join UTJ for 5786 by clicking here.  Either way, please also consider helping maximize UTJ’s reach by volunteering through our volunteer page.

Wishing everyone a meaningful and restorative high holiday season.

B’Shalom,
