Support and Solidarity with the State of Israel

For the sake of Zion I will not be silent, for the sake of Jerusalem I will not be still, till her victory emerge resplendent and her triumph like a flaming torch.
Isaiah 62:1

At this difficult time, UTJ expresses its solidarity with the State of Israel and its people, praying for their peace and security.  We encourage everyone to do what they can to support Israel.

Here are some links to some major fundraising campaigns of which we are aware:

Please use your own voice to advocate for Israel’s peace and security in every way possible, including reaching out to political representatives and contacting friends, family, and acquaintances in Israel to share your caring and to learn about how they are coping with the current situation.

Finally, please join us in raising our voices to the heavens.  Please see this prayer selected and revised from the internet by Rabbi Reuven KimelmanWe pray that God grant the State of Israel, its leaders and its inhabitants, together with all people of conscience throughout the world, wisdom, compassion, and understanding, so that they may do all that is possible to protect the inhabitants of the Holy Land, to care for those who have been injured or who have lost loved ones in the current war, and to help bring us toward a future of lasting peace, in fulfillment of Isaiah’s prophecy:

Thus [God] will judge among the nations, And arbitrate for the many peoples, And they shall beat their swords into plowshares, And their spears into pruning hooks, Nation shall not take up sword against nation; They shall never again know war.
Isaiah 2:4

Shalom al Yisrael (may peace be upon Israel),
