Rabbi Seth Gordon has served in full-time rabbinic positions for over 30 years – five years in Annapolis, MD; 15 in Bethpage, NY; and since 2007 at Traditional Congregation in St Louis, MO. He received S’michah from Rav David Weiss Halivni in 1994.
Rabbi Gordon was a co-founder of Aleph-Bet Jewish Day School in Annapolis; founder of the African-American Jewish Coalition of Anne Arundel County (Annapolis); a teacher at Solomon Schechter High School of Long Island, NY; and served on the Executive Boards of the UTJ, ITJ, and the St. Louis Rabbinical Association, as well as on medical ethics committees.
He and his wife, Marian, have four married sons, one engaged daughter (five weddings in four years!), and two granddaughters.
