In medieval France it became part of the daily liturgy, and only during the seventeenth century was it chosen to close each daily prayer service in both the Ashkenazi and Sephardi rites.<\/p>\n<p>The theological program of\u00a0<em>Aleinu\u00a0<\/em>is noteworthy in a number of respects.
