UTJ Viewpoints Contributor Boni Sussman, in her capacity as Vice President of Kulanu, is involved in coordinating a African Jewish film festival in New York City on January 28 and January 29 in conjunction with the Jewish Africa Conference, presented by The American Sephardi Federation and Association Mimouna which will be January 27-29,

“We are excited to bring a treasure trove of African Jewish experiences to a wider audience,” says Bonita Nathan Sussman, Vice President of Kulanu, “I am sure viewing these films about their journeys to Judaism, that depict their prayer services, weddings and conversions will be an eye-opening experience and great introduction to the trials and tribulations of the Jewish communities in Sub-Saharan Africa.”
