The Scholarly and Personal Impact of Rav Halivni

Speakers:

Rabbi Ephraim Halivni is Rabbi Halivni’s son and a Researcher at the Academy of the Hebrew Language. He has published books and articles on Halakha and Ta’amei Hamikra. A source sheet for Rabbi Halivni’s presentation is displayed on screen and available here.

Dr. Aleza Andron is an oculoplastic surgeon who lives in Jerusalem. She had an ongoing friendship with Professor Halivni over their years as neighbors in Jerusalem.

Hakham Isaac S.D. Sassoon is S’gan Reish Metivta of ITJ and author of several volumes including An Adventure in Torah – A Fresh Look Through a Traditional Lens.

Program moderated by Rabbi Ronald D. Price, Executive Vice President Emeritus of UTJ, Dean Emeritus of ITJ, and a musmakh of Rabbi Halivni.
